Certified as a specialist in Estate Planning, Trusts, and Probate Law*, Jason brings extensive experience and a determined approach to every case he handles, ensuring his clients receive the justice they deserve.

Jason received his law degree from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law, where he was Executive Editor of the Dispute Resolution Law Journal and competed on Pepperdine’s acclaimed trial team. Prior to law school, he received his bachelor of arts degree with a dual major in mathematics and English writing at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, where he graduated with honors while earning All-Conference honors in football and in track and field and was named a National Scholar Athlete.

In addition to representing beneficiaries and heirs, Jason has defended professional and lay fiduciaries in both litigation and administration proceedings. He has also counseled hundreds of clients in preparing their estate plans, ranging from the simple to the complex, and he has guided clients through the complicated arena of contested conservatorship proceedings and elder abuse cases. His combined experience in these areas provides him with valuable insight into the personal and emotional issues that often underlie disputes over money and property. Jason is a passionate believer of principle and strives to bring justice to his clients—both in compensation and dignity. His depth of experience and breadth of background provide dimension allowing him to analyze and strategize each new litigation matter with creativity and tenacity.

Jason regularly handles cases in state and federal courts throughout the state of California and has argued cases on appeal in the California Court of Appeals as well as the United States Court of Appeals For The Ninth Circuit. Concurrent with his Trust and Estate practice, he has served the community pro bono publico as a prosecutor for the Burbank City Attorney in Burbank, California, fighting for the rights of victims of domestic violence and other crimes.

Outside of work, Jason spends most of his time with his beautiful wife and kids, all of whom are actively involved in their local church and enjoy traveling, hiking, and playing games. He is an avid trail runner and loves mountain biking, rucking, and generally being outdoors.
