Sophia Tao —
Associate Attorney
Sophia Tao is an associate attorney with experience in civil litigation, having representing plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury matters across Northern and Southern California.
Sophia received her J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings Law). During law school, she served as a judicial extern for Justice Sandra Marguiles (Ret.) in the California Courts of Appeal, First District. Sophia was also the co-executive acquisitions editor of the Hastings Constitutional Law Quarterly and inducted into the Pro Bono Society.
As a student clinician with the UCSF/UC Law SF Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy, Sophia assisted older adults with estate planning and advance care planning. She also brings a unique perspective through her background in science, holding a B.S. in Pharmacology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
In her free time, Sophia enjoys live music, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
