Elevating Client Representation: Introducing Attorney Matthew Thompson

Trust Law Partners, LLP, is recognized for its success in complex trust and probate litigation throughout California and Texas. We are fortunate to have Matthew Thompson as a key member of our team. Mr. Thompson shares our unwavering commitment to aggressive and ethical advocacy. His wealth of litigation experience aligns perfectly with our firm's dedication to helping clients recover their rightful inheritances.

A Colorado native, Matthew Thompson embarked on his academic journey at the University of Colorado - Denver, where he excelled, earning Dean's List honors. He then honed his legal expertise at Western State College of Law - Fullerton, graduating with his Juris Doctor. Admitted to the California Bar in 2012, Matthew gained valuable legal experience by founding his own successful independent legal practice, demonstrating his versatility by handling a diverse range of cases, including family law, contract disputes, and personal injury matters.

“Wills and Trusts litigation is an incredibly rewarding area of law to practice in. Our task often times is to achieve justice for the elderly and infirm who have been taken advantage of in their time of greatest vulnerability and ensure that their wishes regarding their loved ones are carried out as they truly wanted. I am proud to be part of the incredibly talented team at Trust Law Partners that delivers amazing results for our clients time after time.”
— Matthew Thompson

mark“Matt has an amazing ability to diffuse most legal situations and work out amazing settlements. That being said, when it is time to stop talking, he is adept at taking the fight to the other side. Clients love his easy bedside manner and feel he is truly in their corner fighting for their rights.”

— Mark Russakow, Founding Partner

California probate law is one of the most intricate areas of state law, filled with technical procedures, filing deadlines, and evidentiary burdens. Without legal representation from a professional in this field, it’s easy to overlook key facts, waive important rights, or become entangled in long, frustrating legal processes.

Our California inheritance lawyers are not just familiar with California probate law—we’re immersed in it. We stay current on legal updates, case law trends, and judicial interpretations. We collaborate as a team to examine every angle of a case and develop the most strategic and effective approach for our clients.
